Faisal Khouja is an Artist with over 20 years experience in a variety of areas to do with Art & Design. Whether it be with a paintbrush or a camera, a blade or an Apple Mac, Khouja is confident in maintaining the highest of standards and attention to detail with any given brief. Not wanting to be pigeon holed, the artist has dedicated his life to constantly learning, adapting and perfecting his craft with both his personal and commercial career. Khouja is also an aspiring actor and has been working part time as a Supporting Artiste in the Film and Television industry. Painting

Khouja seeks to draw on a reservoir of emotion and expression to produce highly colourized and uplifting pieces of work.

Portrait

For the last decade Khouja has taken on commissions to paint portraits in high detail, bordering on hyper-realistic. Specializing in animals but also taking on the occasional large scale human portrait the greatest sensitivity and care is taken to capture the essence of the subject matter.

A Master printmaker, Khouja is currently finishing an MA at the University of the West of England in Bristol. Linocut particularly appeals for its graphic line and flat colour.

Illustration

Due to the Artist’s ability to translate a brief using the most appropriate style and medium, there have been a number of commercial projects undertaken over the years which have varied a lot but have always demonstrated expression and creativity whilst staying true to the core value of the brands in question.

Murals

Khouja is a versatile Muralist working on both interior and exterior projects is private homes and commercial spaces such as hotels and restaurants.

Cards

Khouja and his partner Laura Mirjami also have a small greeting card publishing business, Yellow Rose Design, producing highly original cards for every occasion. These cards are available from this website and through a small number of retail outlets which support artist led projects.
